The Penny Royal Motel was originally built in 1825 on the banks of the Isis River in the Tasmanian midlands. In 1972 it was transported to its present site and reassembled stone by numbered stone and re-opened as the Penny Royal Motel.

Comprised of 33 motel suites being 3 ½ star rating. Penny Royal Motel exudes an old world charm with all modern, conveniences.

All suites have private ensuite, personal mini bar, colour television, ISP/SIP telephone connection and complimentary tea and coffee making facilities.

Guest laundry facilities include washing machines dryers and ironing facilities. Ample parking is also available.

Penny's Tavern Cafe offers an atmosphere of days gone by - enjoy a quiet drink in the cosy bar or indulge in your evening meal off our varied menu.

Breakfast is served daily in the beautiful Owls Nest restaurant.

Room service is available for breakfast or dinner.
