The Old Woolstore is a fully air-conditioned hotel with a mix of 242 rooms comprising of studios, one, two, and three bedroom apartments - some with loft bedrooms. The hotel is in a central location, being just minutes from the harbour and Salamanca Place, and is a short walk to the Botanical Gardens, Government House and the Queens Domain, the Aquatic Centre, the Theatre Royal (Australia's oldest theatre) and the central business district. The Stockman's Restaurant, which features Tasmanian produce and wine can be found on premises at the hotel, as well as the Baaa Bar. Conference and meeting facilities include a 100-seat theatrette, large function room, boardrooms and corporate support office.
