Tasmanian timbers, polished granite and local artworks add an elegant touch to every room, which offer either King size beds or two double beds. Our two-room Executive Suites provide separate living room with spacious desk for those travelling on business. We also offer a Royal Suite and Presidential Suite. All rooms include tea/coffee making, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and direct dial phones.

Hotel Grand Chancellor Hobart features Tasmania's largest, purpose-built event and convention facility, the Federation Concert Hall and Convention Centre. This venue offers everything from seminar rooms to exhibition space. As a tiered auditorium it provides seating for 1100 and a ballroom which caters for 1000. With state-of-the-art audiovisual facilities and flexible catering we can take you from breakfast to magnificent themed dinners. Special conference packages can be easily organised with our experienced, professional staff. For groups from 10 to 1100, the Federation Concert Hall and Convention Centre offers all the amenities you would expect of a modern, world-class venue.
